Donate to The Project Hope 2012 Medical Fund

Just eight days into the new year, Chicago English Bulldog Rescue was called to action for a rescue project involving three different puppy mills in the Midwest. We have named this incredible and passionate mission Project Hope 2012. It took the effort of three rescue organizations to make Project Hope happen but these eight beautiful bulldogs are now in CEBR's care and have already begun their medical rehabilitation.

In their previous lives, these eight bulldogs had served their purpose for the mills. They no longer produced puppies or money for their owners. They were sick and not able to be sold to pet stores or unsuspecting internet buyers.

Known only as a number or an unnamed face in a crate, these incredible bulldogs have started their journey to a new life. The Project Hope clan are now all in foster homes where they finally received names and are getting the loving care and attention they deserve. We are excited to be able to bring a new beginning in a new year to each of these wonderful bulldogs.

Introducing the Bulldogs of Project Hope 2012
Rescue #1698- Project Hope's Cooper.  This 3.5 month old puppy has a life threatening Grade 4 heart murmur.  He is all wrinkles and love with a naughty puppy side!

Rescue #1694- Project Hope's Dolly.  This beautiful 3 year old female is full of worms, ear infections and dermatitis, not too mention some bad teeth and a lame front leg.

Rescue #1700- Project Hope's Gidget.  This 3.5 year old girl is suffering from severe eye infections and dry eye.  She has the cutest little "pixie" nose and screams belly rubs!

Rescue #1714- Project Hope's Lexi.  The most neglected of all of these dogs, this 2 year old beauty is suffering from a grade 1 heart murmur, severe demodetic mange in addition to skin so infected that it bleeds when you touch her.  She has an ulcer in her eye from all of the trauma to her body.  She is also the most shy and unsocialized but we can see a little sprite just waiting to come out!

Rescue #1699- Project Hope's Maxine. This silly 3 year old suffers from dermatitis, eye infections and an abscessed tooth.  She has spunk and sass!

Rescue  #1702- Project Hope's Nelly. This 3.5 year old lady is in great spirits despite a terrible urinary tract infection.  She is named "Nelly" because she is "nosy nelly" and very curious about all that goes on around her!

Rescue #1701- Project Hope's Weezy.  This 4 year old maiden is as short and chunky as they come!  Her inverted tail is so infected that it will need to be amputated as soon as the infection is under control.  She suffers from a strong infection in her bladder and urinary tract and crystals in her urine, not too mention scarring on her eye.  She is loving, friendly and silly!

Rescue #1715- Project Hope's Zeke.  This 10 month old boy has a skin infection and other less threatening medical issues including an undescended testicle.  He is an unbridled pup!
